Babyberry and Imriela jointly decided upon this project.
The concept is simple: could the Mario Bros. become cute Mario Sisters instead? Bred from a desire to create lolita-eque, ultra feminized versions, each girl worked on her outfit separately, incorporating whatever designs she desired. The only guidelines were to keep the color scheme the same, and to encorporate as much Nintendo fandom as possible!
Babyberry graciously created the little hats, as well as the matching mushrooms. For all three girls a common hatred for ruffles was felt for the first time. Add to that the fact most of the costumes are lined, boned, and drafted with original patterns... you can imagine they caused a few headaches!
At least the costumes are quite comfortable and fun to run around in!
